As a board-certified pulmonary, palliative and critical care physician, I specialize in treating patients with advanced lung diseases. I also serve as director of the novel Pulmonary Palliative Clinic within The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital, a program I helped launch. My team and I help patients and their loved ones navigate their serious illnesses and use specialty palliative training and education to provide symptom management with the goal of improving quality of life.
My patients can expect a personalized approach tailored to their unique needs and rely on me for support throughout their lung health care journey. I am passionate about doing all I can to help make each patient’s experience as smooth as possible.

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

Pretty professional
Have not had any bad experiences
My provider is a very listener. Knowing how she recognized my deficiencies was really big. She has helped me immensely with setting me up with extra mental health care that I really needed. I was reluctant at first even though I agreed. It has been a remarkable change in myself and my behavior. Being present.
This is the second time seeing her this time I felt like I was heard and she took care of something right away
Dr. John's was very thorough and explained things in a way that we could easily understand. She took the time to provide the details needed for clarity. Appreciate her attention and care.
