I’m an otolaryngology – head and neck surgeon specializing in rhinology and endoscopic skull base surgery. This field is especially interesting to me because in recent years, we’ve been able to offer much more minimally invasive options for patients with complex medical problems. It gives me a lot of satisfaction when I can tell a patient that the entire operation can take place through their nose, therefore avoiding scars on their face.
I was drawn to otolaryngology because I’m passionate about helping my patients better interact with the world around them. I love coming to work every day knowing I have the opportunity to improve someone’s quality of life.
The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is a special place to work because of its collaborative, patient-centered culture, its focus on academic medicine and its commitment to research. Working here provides me with the opportunity to teach and mentor residents and medical students, in addition to focusing and evolving my research efforts on inflammatory sinonasal diseases.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time outside. I especially love hiking and kayaking.

Dr Kelly is a great ENT. She is the 1st person to find my issue after dealing with this since I was 15. She is very knowledgeable.

She was great- I was here for a second opinion after another ENT recommended surgery for deviated septum. She spent much more time and gave me a detailed explanation of my CT scan and situation and treatment options. Way better than the original ENT.

Dr. Kelly is always kind, patient, and knowledgeable. I appreciated how she did my sinus surgery and the follow-ups. It was regrettable that we miscommunicated about the fact that I wanted my sinuses to be cleaned out during my septoplasty, but we are going to do a CT scan to see what they look like.

The care provider is really exceptional in her approach to my treatment; I have great trust in her care: thoughtful, friendly, and also precise and great in communication.
Dr Kelly takes time to listen and engage in meaningful and helpful conversation. She is relatable as a person and offers real life suggestions to help with recovery and symptoms. Dr Kelly makes sure I understand what she is communicating. Dr Kelly looks at me when speaking which is different from some other providers who only like to look at the computer. I have been very pleased with Dr Kelly!

I attempted to explain an issue I have been having with the feeling of "draining down the back of my neck" and the provider told me they could not relate. No follow up questions, focused on adenoids.

Dr. Kelly was apologetic about the wait time. She was aware that I had gone to the wrong office and had to reschedule, which was unexpected and kind of her. She was knowledgeable about the surgery I'm considering and was patient with questions. She also scoped my nose without the Lidocaine spray that had given me such a bad time in a previous visit, which was much better.
I told Dr Kelly that I was comfortable having a resident in the operating room but not actually helping with the procedure and she respected my wishes (as far as I know)
