About Me
As a podiatrist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I specialize in general podiatric care as well as wound care for the foot and ankle. My approach to care is to work with patients to provide a comprehensive and individualized treatment plan for their foot health issues.
I love working at a place that provides excellent multidisciplinary and individualized care to our patients that is also supported by state-of-the-art research.
In my free time I enjoy relaxing with my family, reading, watching movies and attending Ohio State football games.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

Friendly, great eye contact and interest, provided recommendations and had me set up appointment to come back if still having pain. Excellent bedside manner!

Resident came in first, was very professional and caring, explained things well. Dr. Springer also professional and caring, gave some education that reiterated what the resident had said. They worked well together.

I brought in a series of pictures, a typewritten page with questions, concerns, and ideas. The doctor patiently read through everything, looked at all the pictures and gave pertinent feedback, discussed all my angst about the procedures, and was kind. I showed up with the intent of not going through with the procedure; he put me at ease, so I had the nail avulsion.
