About Me

I am a gynecologic surgeon who specializes in performing minimally invasive procedures to address conditions such as endometriosis, ovarian cysts, abnormal bleeding, fibroids, vaginal and uterine anomalies, and others. My goal is to enhance each patient’s quality of life with a multidisciplinary, evidence-based approach that is tailored to their specific needs and values.

I believe in shared decision-making and individualized care plans to help patients achieve their health goals. My patients can rely on me to thoroughly explain their diagnosis and treatment options so they can make the best decisions for themselves and their families.

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is unparalleled in its dedication to the entire patient experience, and I am thrilled to be part of such an exceptional team. I also enjoy being part of a surgical division that encourages multi-directional learning from all members. I appreciate the opportunity to continue learning from other expert specialists and to pay it forward by helping to train the next generation in my role as an assistant professor at The Ohio State College of Medicine.

In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I am passionate about global health and the translation of innovative surgical techniques to low-resource areas. My experience includes serving as a co-investigator in a grant-funded initiative to develop a comprehensive women’s health center in the Philippines.

My research focus includes innovation in surgical education and surgical simulation models.

My work on appendiceal endometriosis received the Jordan M. Phillips AAGL Foundation Award in 2023, which funds research to allow us to keep advancing minimally invasive gynecologic procedures.

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with family, cooking, watching tennis and karaoke.
