Biography
I became a certified nurse-midwife because I’m passionate about offering women the best reproductive care possible at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
I feel it’s crucial to collaborate with each patient to create a high-quality, evidence-based health care plan that aligns with their unique needs and values. My patients can trust that I’ll always listen to their concerns, address their questions and empower them to make important decisions about their bodies.
I provide well-woman care, contraceptive management including IUD and Nexplanon, preconception counseling, and STI testing and treatment. I also regularly treat conditions such as vaginitis, pelvic pain and dysmenorrhea, and address menstrual concerns.
In my free time, I like to spend time with friends and my significant other. I enjoy binge-watching true-crime documentaries, watching football games and eating spicy food.

This care provider always provides the highest quality care. They truly listen to concerns, are open to discussing treatment plans, and offer suggestions that meet my specific needs and wants. They are my most trusted and enjoyable care provider across the OSU system.
My provider was outstanding!! She spent a great amount of time answering my questions and concerns. Made me feel very comfortable at the appointment. I honestly can't say enough great things about her. As a new patient it was amazing to feel like a person and not just a number!
Only good experiences - I feel reassured once I leave that things are as they should be and she also makes me feel encouraged to do my best to take care of myself.

My care provider was amazing. She walked me through everything she would do, we took breaks to give my body time to calm down. When I was in the extreme pain after the procedure she was able to prescribe a muscle relaxer at a pharmacy near my house, but completely unable to help me during the extreme pain I was in at the appointment due to OSU standards.

Aashka is the only provider at OSU that I still see. I hate seeing OSU providers as the system is typically very overwhelming and cold, but she is the exception to that rule. She is so kind and understanding and provides superior care to that of any other provider I have. If she ever leaves OSU, I will go to whatever practice she works at. I have referred at least a dozen family members and friends to her specifically. I cannot overstate how wonderful she is
