Biography
As a gastroenterologist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I diagnose and treat patients for a broad range of conditions including celiac disease, heartburn, constipation, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), ulcers and swallowing disorders. I also perform colonoscopies and upper endoscopies.
I enjoy developing genuine relationships with my patients and ensuring that my patients feel comfortable in order to provide the best care possible, whether in the clinical setting or the endoscopy suite. My goal is to empower patients to take active roles in their own health.
My various experiences as an educator, ranging from my AmeriCorps service to working as a teaching assistant, inspired my decision to pursue a career in academic medicine. I completed my fellowship training at the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center, and I’m thrilled for the opportunity to continue growing my career as a clinician and educator here. The collaboration between providers within the gastroenterology department and the emphasis placed on education drew me back to Ohio State. My role at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center involves teaching trainees in various stages of their medical career whether it is in clinic, in the hospital or in the endoscopy suite.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with family and friends and exploring everything that Columbus has to offer.
