I am a board-certified physical medicine and rehabilitation physician at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I specialize in treating patients with neuromuscular disorders, muscle spasticity, and nervous system diseases, using advanced techniques such as botulinum toxin therapy and electromyography to improve function and quality of life.
My patients can rely on me for high-quality, compassionate care and honest communication in every encounter. I collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of skilled experts to ensure each patient receives personalized care tailored to their unique needs and values.
In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I am passionate about educating and mentoring the next generation of providers. I serve as an associate clinical professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at The Ohio State University College of Medicine.

My Physician is extremely knowledgeable about his area of specialization, physical rehabilitation. He is very thorough asking how the treatment that he provided at my last visit, wants to ensure that he understands the origin of my complex chronic pain.
He has made the my quality of life 100 times better with his expertise, questioning and specializing my treatments.
Dr. Clairmont provided his medical opinion regarding: a problem I had been having w my baclofen pump. He took the time to think about the issue, ask me questions, and provide me w the actions I should take. Taking time to answer these questions, when he was running a bit behind, is part of what makes him an outstanding physician.

I wish everyone had the blessing of a Dr Clairmont as a provider! He and Christina take the time to listen, explain, make and compare notes from visits, and have improved my complex health issues in the past 18 months! He has written multiple letters to Worker's Comp to fight for my care and additional allowances--which have been deciding factors in receiving those allowances after 9+ years!

I felt like Dr. Clairmont truly listened to me and did not brush me off like so many other doctors have done. My case is complex and I could tell that Dr. Clairmont had prepared and knew my medical history (whereas some doctors barely even know your name, let alone your symptoms and medical history). It was so nice to have someone listen to me and truly empathize, and commit to helping me navigate the road ahead.
No two visits for my Botox injections are ever the same. He truly listens to my feedback on how the last set of shots affected/did not affect me and makes his plan from there. I am much improved since I began Botox treatment with Dr. Clairmont!
The overall experience is excellent - and this is coming from a guy getting needles stuck in his neck and shoulders.
The doctor is very knowledgeable and takes his time to ask about how the procedure worked for me and listens to my responses. He continually strives to make each procedure work better than the last and he has a good rapport with me as a patient as well as with the nurse/assistant helping with the procedure.

My husband knew how much I respected Dr. Clairmont and his knowledge before the appointment. However, my husband was still blown away by Dr. Clairmont's knowledge and intuition. The provider was so good and well educated and really helped me and was very concerned about my injury to my hand and why the proper care for my hand needed to be arranged He was so nice to me and my son and he really educated me on my hand injury. He also was cared about my health and well being. I'm so thankful for his help.

Dr. Clairmont is the most thorough and knowledgeable doctor I have ever been privileged to receive treatment from. He listens and adjusts his "game plan." He explained medical things about me from my childhood that no other doctors have ever noticed or have ignored - blows me away!
I don't have the words to express the depth of relief I walked away from this appointment with. I had given up a long time ago on figuring out what was wrong with me and had just settled for treating the worst of my symptoms after 25 years of pain that worsened and spread and never made sense. I left that appointment with every question I've had for 25 years answered because one doctor decided to genuinely listen to me and spend the time necessary (over 2 hours) listening to me to diagnose things I've not only been struggling with for 25 years but that had plagued me since childhood (I'm 44) that I just accepted as part of my life, and now I have hope and legitimate treatment options in front of me.
I have only great things to say about Dr. Clairmont. He's the best on his specialty . I get botulinum shots on head & neck area for dystonia & triage headaches. I simply couldn't trust someone else wt. About 30 needles. But he's humble & always helpful on listening to my other health issues. He sets time aside before precidure every time to ask what is going on on & respectfully directs me on what I may consider doing about a next step.I Value his opinion tremendously .

On a scale of 1-10, ten being the best, Dr. Clairmont is at least 100. You have the BEST doctor working for you. I have had many many many doctors over my 64 years of health concerns and he is THE BEST doctor I have ever had.

Dr. Clairmont is a 20 on a scale of one to ten. He has changed my life with his care. The quality of my life is soooo much better. I can now live with my condition thanks to his treatments. He is also the best listener of any doctor I have ever had. I'm 63 and I have a lot of health issues. Dr. Clairmont is an angel in disguise. I cannot ever say enough great things about his concern, care and speciality of listening.

Dr. Clairmont is the best in deciding where to injecting the correct amount of Botox to relieve the spasms in my muscles due to my stroke.
