Biography

I am a board-certified physical medicine and rehabilitation physician at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I specialize in treating patients with neuromuscular disorders, muscle spasticity, and nervous system diseases, using advanced techniques such as botulinum toxin therapy and electromyography to improve function and quality of life.

My patients can rely on me for high-quality, compassionate care and honest communication in every encounter. I collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of skilled experts to ensure each patient receives personalized care tailored to their unique needs and values.

In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I am passionate about educating and mentoring the next generation of providers. I serve as an associate clinical professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at The Ohio State University College of Medicine.

    My Physician is extremely knowledgeable about his area of specialization, physical rehabilitation. He is very thorough asking how the treatment that he provided at my last visit, wants to ensure that he understands the origin of my complex chronic pain.

    Dr. Clairmont provided his medical opinion regarding: a problem I had been having w my baclofen pump. He took the time to think about the issue, ask me questions, and provide me w the actions I should take. Taking time to answer these questions, when he was running a bit behind, is part of what makes him an outstanding physician.
