Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Clairmont. He has, literally, changed my life. I was in pain for so many years and saw other providers from OSU who weren't aware/informed enough about my condition and just sent me on to another Dr. Dr. Clairmont is BRILLIANT. He is treating me with the only possible option for my condition that other OSU doctors poo -pood.I cannot rave about him enough. I would love to discuss this more with any supervisor or HR person. He is also the most caring, comforting, and informative Dr. I have ever seen and I have had a lifetime of Doctors.
He is the best doctor I've ever had! Always listens and evaluates me at each appointment. He's compassionate and takes time with me and my husband to help us understand.

Dr. Clairmont is a wonderful doctor. He always shows such care and compassion. He helps my spasticity and always works with me to find the best places to inject the Botox. No doctor has ever been able to help me and make me feel as comfortable as Dr. Clairmont!
Dr Clairmont is trying to work with multiple doctors to determine the root cause of my problems and find the best possible treatment.
Dr. is very clear and professional about what he is doing explains everything very good very smart dr. glad to have him taking care of our son. Dr. takes time with our son our son enjoys him they seem to have a great relationship even though son is non verbal dr. spends time talking to our son makes our son happy dr. is very professional but knows how to make our son laugh. I would be crying if I had to get all those injections but he keeps our son laughing.
Dr. Clairmont is the best doctor. He listens to me and my husband, problem solves issues I'm experiencing, the most compassionate physician I've ever had.

Dr. Albert Clairmont is an experienced provider who has compassion for his patients and is willing to do whatever is needed to provide the best care possible. For me, he has always clearly explained the procedures he was doing. When he feels that more care is needed, he is willing to consult and refer.
He was amazing. Took a good amount of time with me and was very thorough in his diagnosis and treatment plan.

Dr Clairmont was professional and informative. The doctor is always communicative and truly cares about my health.
The care provider was new. We have seen Dr. Mysiw for years . We were expecting to be able to maintain the same regimen of care that has been working well to help me have a flat foot and transfer better. This provider would not write an order for a cast that I wear overnight . He recommended having surgery instead. I'm not opposed to learning about the surgery, but feel I would have been better served if I could have maintained my regimen of care that has helped me . I would have liked to have a say in changing something that has helped me substantially. I will schedule a consult , but would have liked continuing with the serial casting as usual until we determine together otherwise. I would like to have someone call me to see if there are options until I have my consultation.

I absolutely have nothing but good things to say about Dr Clarimont. I have been dealing with a debilitating medical condition for almost a year now. He is one of the first doctors (other then my family doc) to spend more then 10 minutes trying to find out what's wrong with me. He made me feel heard and like he was going to do everything he can to help me. This means so much, because I have been feeling like no body cares what is happening to me, like ot can't possibly be as bad as I say it is. I have lost my job and become unable to do normal things over the last year. I am very happy with this doctors care so far!

As always Dr. C. Did a fantastic job of deciding where and how much Botox o inject in my muscles. The Botox relieves the spasms in my muscles to allow me to use them better.
Excellent as always. I get botox with him every 3 months.

The provider went above and beyond and spend a long time with me during this visit. He new my long health history very well and listened carefully. He did a thorough physical examination (no other provider ever bothered despite a decade long history of back pain!) and I felt for the first time that my pain and concerns were taken seriously.
Dr Clairmont is wonderful! He has taken better care of me than anyone else I have seen for my medical condition. He takes the time to clearly explain what he is thinking and recommends, and why. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Clairmpnt is fantastic! I have talked to many other patients and doctors about him. They agree that no one else has the knowledge and expertise that he has. I have been seeing him for 20 years. The relief of my muscle spasms after receiving the Botox is great. I am able to do many things without the stiffness that I had before going to him. He is a great asset to your hospital. I don't think anyone else will be able to replace him, when he retires. You should give him an assistant all the time! I have seen the amount that is charged for each of my visits, and you should give him all the help you can!
Dr. Clairmont, upon starting my visit, explained to me how he spent "2 hours" last night reviewing my chart. This made me feel extremely safe & comfortable having him continue to treat my condition not mention feeling hugely respected and like he was doing everything he could to give me the most complete care! He had a medical student/follow with him and as he was treating me took such great care explaining to her what he was doing & why. This is a sign of an incredible teacher & I learned so much about my condition as well listening to their discuss it. He spends a great amount of time with me so when I leave there I feel like all questions were answered & I don't need to contact him later.
He took his time with me, to ensure I understood everything, as well as knew my options. He was very thorough when trying to figure out what was causing the pain. Definitely the best Dr. I have seen yet.
