Biography
I specialize in diagnosing and treating heart rhythm disorders including atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, supraventricular tachycardia, ventricular tachycardia and bradycardia. My practice at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center focuses on clinical cardiac electrophysiology and personalized treatment for patients with arrhythmias.
I chose a career in medicine to help people during times of need. Getting an abnormal heart rhythm diagnosis can be overwhelming, and I am committed to providing patient-centered care that helps patients understand their condition and treatment options. I take the time to learn about each patient's goals and priorities so we can develop an individualized treatment plan together.
My clinical expertise includes the management of a broad range of cardiac arrhythmias. I offer advanced therapies, including catheter ablation procedures and the implantation of pacemakers and defibrillators. By combining the latest electrophysiology treatments with clear communication and shared decision-making, I strive to help patients improve their heart health, reduce symptoms and enhance their quality of life.

I am an assistant professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, and I specialize in research related to atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia. My research focuses on identifying patients at risk for developing atrial fibrillation, optimizing treatment strategies with medications and catheter ablation, and improving outcomes following ablation procedures.
My work seeks to advance the understanding and management of cardiac arrhythmias through clinical research and real-world data analysis. I study factors associated with the development of atrial fibrillation, evaluate approaches to treating patients with medications and ablation, and investigate ways to improve outcomes after catheter ablation procedures.
Through ongoing research, I aim to improve risk stratification, refine treatment approaches and contribute to better long-term outcomes for patients with heart rhythm disorders.
