About Me
As a family medicine physician at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I specialize in women’s health, overcoming barriers to health and caring for underserved populations. I believe in listening to my patients and applying my problem solving skills in order to advocate for their health in every situation.
I am passionate about my work and helping all the people I encounter on the job, including patients, medical students and coworkers, to become their best selves.
My favorite part about working at Ohio State is the amazing team spirit in both education and patient care.
When I’m not working, I enjoy exploring the world with my family, running and reading.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

Good
I mentioned I was getting over a bad cold, but she never looked in my nose or throat. I also described a minor accident I'd had 4 months before in which I'd injured my elbow and said that it didn't seem to be healing well, but she never examined the elbow. However, she was very congenial during this visit.

Dr. Macerollo is THE BEST DOCTOR!! She ALWAYS listens to me intently and can answer any questions I have. She talks to me in layman terms so I can understand what she is telling me and will check to make sure I do understand what she is saying.
She was very good and concern about me, letting know what I need to do, she also was very concern about my health and we talk about my medicine.
Dr. Macerollo is very genial and pleasant, and always takes plenty of time to discuss my health concerns in great detail.
