Biography
I am an Associate Director of pharmacy for University Hospital. I received my BS in pharmaceutical sciences from The Ohio State University and stayed on to complete my PharmD degree. After graduating from pharmacy school, I completed the two-year Health-System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership Residency at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and received an MS in health-system pharmacy administration.
My current responsibilities include oversight for acute care services and pharmacy practice for University Hospital. This includes the specialty practice pharmacy teams in critical care, internal medicine, acute care surgery, neuropsychiatry, infectious diseases, emergency medicine, solid organ transplant, and cardiology.
In addition to my clinical and operational responsibilities, I facilitate the acute care clinical competency and onboarding program, is the experiential site director for IPPE and APPE rotations and is a residency program coordinator for the Health-System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership residency program. External to the department, I sit on several health-system committees and participates in system-wide projects.
My professional interests include pharmacy practice advancement, career planning and staff development, clinical outcomes and medication safety and quality. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my husband and two daughters and getting out in nature whenever possible.
