Nurse Practitioner
A nurse practitioner is extensively trained to treat illness or disease and to prescribe medication to their patients. They work on teams with a licensed physician, but can treat patients with significant autonomy. Nurse practitioners work in a variety of settings, including primary care and various other medical and surgical specialties.
Very courteous and concerned
I've never had a negative experience at theWexner!

Respect for my privacy regarding changes In/out of hospital gown.
He was very informative and kind. She didn't rush us at all.
Kind and compassionate
The electrophysiologist with whom I was originally scheduled to meet no longer is employed at OSU. The nurse practitioner with whom I met was much more pleasant, concerned about my well being, and interested in listening to what I had to say. I am grateful that I had the opportunity to meet with her rather than the ex-electrophysiologist.
All positive experiences.
Great
The PA I saw was not my normal provider who is an electo-physiolotist. Apparently he's been out of the office for months and no one has taken his place. Fortunately my condition is stable and this was a routine visit, other patients might not be so lucky.
They encourafed me regarding unpleasant parts of a test.
Always good experience.
Professional, pleasant, patient, knowledgeable.
My providers were all fantastic. Again these guys deserve medals. They kept me alive. Myself and my wife thank all of you 100% for taking great care of me.
I really liked Amber Grose! She was patient and thorough and answered all my questions well.
