I am a board-certified transplant surgeon at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I specialize in organ transplantation, including kidney, pancreas, and islet cell transplants, with a focus on living donor procedures and complex transplant chains.
My patients can rely on me for high-quality, compassionate care and honest communication in every encounter. I collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of skilled experts to ensure each patient receives personalized care tailored to their unique needs and values.
In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I am passionate about educating and mentoring the next generation of providers. I am a clinical professor of Surgery at The Ohio State University College of Medicine.

My research is focused on advancing islet and pancreas transplantation, with an emphasis on improving immunosuppression strategies such as rapid steroid‑withdrawal protocols. My work aims to enhance outcomes in renal and islet transplantation through clinical studies, active funded projects and ongoing contributions to the fields of transplantation and metabolic disease.
