Biography
As a comprehensive optometrist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I diagnose and treat patients for conditions including glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, dry eye syndromes and allergic conjunctivitis. I also perform routine checks for retinal diseases such as diabetic retinopathy and hypertensive retinopathy. Patients can rely on me for an evidence-based approach with customized care that aligns with their unique needs and values.
I chose a career in optometry because it allows me to combine my interests in science and problem-solving with my passion for helping others. It’s a privilege to support my patients through some of their most vulnerable moments and make a meaningful difference in their lives.
My role includes helping to educate and mentor future providers. I am an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences in The Ohio State University College of Medicine.
I’m also active in professional organizations. I‘m currently a member of the American Academy of Optometry and working towards my fellowship.
