Biography
As an acute care nurse at Ohio State, I specialize in managing patients undergoing cardiac surgery. I see people with cardiovascular disease, coronary artery disease (CAD), cardiac arrhythmias (atrial and ventricular), heart failure (ischemic and non-ischemic), ventricular assist devices, valvular heart disease, ECMO and heart and lung transplants.
My focus when caring for patients is to take a holistic approach – I consider each patient as a whole individual and each of these individuals is unique. I love to take care of people and improve their lives in some way.
Working at Ohio State is exciting because we exemplify unity in diversity. I am also frequently provided with great opportunities for learning.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending my free time with my family and traveling.
