I chose to specialize in plastic surgery because I wanted to make a meaningful and lasting difference in patients’ lives . For me, healing goes beyond just treating physical conditions. It's about restoring confidence, function and dignity. Whether it's reconstructive work after a traumatic event or helping someone feel more at ease in their own skin, each procedure is an opportunity to empower someone. I have extensive expertise using the most advanced techniques in plastic surgery, and I stay up-to-date on the latest innovations to ensure my patients receive the best care possible.
As an assistant clinical professor of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, my role here at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center bridges clinical care and resident education. I treat patients while actively teaching and mentoring residents, and it’s in that dynamic exchange where the real growth happens. The strong connection between surgical practice and academic mentorship constantly challenges me to evolve, both as a surgeon and as an educator. This allows me to deliver better care while also shaping the next generation of plastic surgeons with insight, precision and purpose.
In addition to my clinical and educational responsibilities, I am passionate about collaborating with national and international colleagues to continuously improve patient care strategies and share advancements. I am an editorial board member and reviewer for Frontiers in Bioscience and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. I am also a reviewer for the Aesthetic Surgery Journal, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery - Global Open, and I serve as a delegate for the International Confederation of Plastic Surgery Societies (ICOPLAST).
