Biography
I am a board-certified family medicine physician at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I specialize in providing comprehensive primary care for individuals and families across all ages, with a focus on preventive health, chronic disease management, and patient education.
My patients can rely on me for high-quality, compassionate care and honest communication in every encounter. I work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure each patient receives care that aligns with their personal health goals and values.
In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I am committed to advancing medical education and mentorship. I serve as a professor of Family Medicine at The Ohio State University College of Medicine.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. Dr Doubini was absolutely excellent. This was my first visit with her and she took tremendous time and care and explaining all of my test results and was instrumental and getting another much-needed test scheduled for me. In all my years, she is the first physician that thoroughly explain things to me and seem to genuinely care about the conditions I have. Additionally, she is the first physician. I have come across that explain things to me in a way that we're easy to understand and provide provided assistance in next steps for me. I am very happy that she will be my primary care physician moving forward
The wait for the doctor was longer than I anticipated but she didn't rush through our visit and it was worth the wait.

She was very thorough and order tests. Gave me a report of what she and said she needed more information that would come with test reports.
She was excellent. I have had two other providers from OSU before and they were terrible in several ways. This provider actually listened to my experience and provided culturally relevant information for my health. When I didn't understand something, she would go out of her way to ensure that she explained concepts in a way that would make sense to me. She even provided context for one of my lab numbers that came as "high", explaining that the level that is deemed as high was recently changed hence why my number might have come up as high but I actually am doing good. I really appreciated her and this was the first time I have felt seen as a human being during a pcp appointment at OSU.
I left my appointment feeling unheard and disrespected. I went in for a general check-up and it turned into a lecture about my weight and the ability to have a healthy pregnancy. As someone who has struggled with an ED in the past, I felt there was a better way to go about speaking about this. If you are looking for a patient-led approach, this is not the doctor for you. The level of care was not what I had anticipated, and as so, I will be seeing a different provider moving forward.

Dr Doubeni always thorough with my exam. What I like about her that she explained my condition, provide educate materials and recommend the best treatment outcomes. She is genuinely concerned and shows a lot of compassion. She is an amazing provider.
