My nurse practitioner didn't seem to know anything about me when she came in, even though I was asked to come in for a follow-up after my sleep study. She said to contact her if the medicine she prescribed didn't work, but she wouldn't give an estimate of how long it would take to notice the effects of the medicine. I didn't want a specific timeline, I just wanted to get an idea of when the meds usually start to work. She kept saying "everybody is different" which wasn't helpful. She also didn't explain anything about my diagnosis, she initially seemed confused as to why I was there (which I thought was to understand how to handle my recently diagnosed narcolepsy).

This nurse practitioner was the absolute nicest provider I have ever run into. Her personality was happy and bubbly, and her knowledge was extensive and her care that she provided was fantastic.
