About Me
I am a surgeon at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, specializing in caring for patients with various conditions impacting their cardiovascular and neurological systems. As vascular surgery lead at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center East Hospital, I treat issues including peripheral arterial disease, dialysis access creation, thoracic and abdominal aortic aneurysms, carotid artery diseases, mesenteric vascular occlusion and renovascular hypertension.
One of my goals is to provide customized treatment plans that best align with my patients’ unique needs and values. I always listen closely to my patients, and I empower them to take an active role in their care decisions. My patients can also rely on me to explain their condition and treatment options in a manner they understand.
I completed my fellowship training in vascular surgery here at The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center, and I’m proud to pass on that knowledge and passion to the next generation of physicians. I have always enjoyed teaching and mentoring medical students, residents and fellows, and I’m excited to currently serve as an assistant professor of Surgery in The Ohio State University College of Medicine.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 09/30/2024, Dr. Oriowo has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
