About Me

I am a board-certified osteopathic physician, focused on providing high-quality and compassionate primary care for older adults. As a specialized geriatrician at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, my practice includes caring for people in outpatient, inpatient and home care settings.

I diagnose and treat both acute illnesses and chronic conditions, and I emphasize preventive strategies to help my patients achieve and maintain their health and wellness goals. My patients can expect personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs and values.

My training instilled in me a deep passion for geriatric care, and I am committed to offering the best, most comprehensive care, one patient at a time. I value the opportunity to build genuine, long-lasting relationships with my patients and make a positive difference in their lives.

In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I help educate the next generation of providers. I am an assistant clinical professor of Family and Community Medicine at The Ohio State University College of Medicine.

Bailey Lessig is the best GP I have ever had -- and I've had a lot. She is smart, thorough, knowledgeable, current, warm and personable, and exhibits genuine caring for her patients. I like that she understands older patients and the issues in aging. She is careful and proactive in trying to prevent problems and she always makes time for a longer discussion if one is needed. She is AWESOME. One of the great treasures of the entire OSU system.
