I serve as the M3 clerkship director for the College of Medicine, supporting residents through clinical training in certain specialities.
I earned my bachelor's degree in molecular biology and biochemistry with a minor in European history from Middlebury College. Following that, I graduated AOA from Rutgers Medical School. I received my residency training at University of Cincinnati. My academic interests include both resident and medical student education.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling and golf.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 11/21/2019, Dr. Ostro has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
