Biography
I practice in otolaryngology, which focuses on ear, nose and throat health. I specialize in rhinology, an area of medicine emphasizing the nose and sinus conditions. My specialties include sinus surgery and endoscopic skull base surgery.
My goal is to deliver therapy that is tailored to each individual patient. I believe in engaging each patient to achieve this goal. I seek to first identify an accurate diagnosis and then recommend the best form of therapy for that patient.
I enjoy the people I work with at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I appreciate the positive atmosphere and dedication to excellent patient care. These are qualities that are exhibited at all times at Ohio State.
When I'm not on the job I take time to relax with my family, attend Ohio State football games and enjoy the outdoors. I also really enjoy playing the guitar.

I have patents pending for new devices to treat sinusitis and rhinitis. As a member of the Comprehensive Skull Base Surgery Center, I am also interested in the development of new techniques and devices to treat complex skull base disorders.

Dr. Otto was pleasant and organized in his exam of my ENT problem. He looked at the list I had brought with me and asked pertinent questions as a follow up to my responses. With a long history of an ENT problem, he was tabled to recommend some new options to consider. He asked the staff person at check out to coordinate my next appointment with CT scan, his partner, and himself all on one visit. I'm from out of town and appreciated this.
