I am a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in neurological surgery at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I provide care for patients undergoing neurosurgical procedures, supporting them through pre-operative planning and post-operative recovery.
My patients can rely on me for compassionate, detail-oriented care and clear communication. I work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure each patient receives personalized support throughout their surgical journey.

Brian didn't seem to understand my overall spinal issues. He was focused on my cervical fusion, but didn't have an understanding of the entirety of my spinal issues. He was not informed of my lumbar issues, which still affect my quality of life. He also seemed dismissive of issues I'm having after my cervical fusion. If the X-rays showed the hardware was where it should be, he was satisfied.
Caring, kind and very good at explaining the test results and our questions. I would highly recommend him!

Provider not concerned with my multiple symptoms. Only interested in "the one thing that was most bothersome". Which is difficult to pinpoint just one symptom that is bothersome when it affects you everyday all day long.

I had a reaction to Vancomycin and rang for the nurses which arrived in less than a minute. Several Dr s and nurses had the reaction under control in less than 10 minutes.
Brian appeared to have no knowledge of my procedure before he brought my records up in the computer. This was a big procedure. He appeared to be quoting from a pre-rehearsed script based upon my stage of recovery and what happens next as far as reducing pain meds and that I will be seeing him for two years. He recorded my symptoms but I had to insist that a problem on my right side was significant and not related to my nerves waking up. Was rude when I left and walked away from me when he sensed I didn't like his attitude.
