Biography
As a certified nurse midwife at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I believe in helping women achieve their health and wellness goals. I specialize obstetrics and gynecological care for both pregnant and non-pregnant women, and assist with labour and delivery.
I treat women of all ages throughout their entire lifetime, and provide each of my patients with an individualized healthcare experience. It’s so rewarding to work with women and their families to promote overall health and wellness for pregnancies.
I love working in a multidisciplinary academic medical center. Having all of our service lines in one health system makes it easier for patients and providers to communicate and work together.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family.

Cassandra was great. She spent the amount of time with me that I needed, answering all questions, and explaining every step of my appointment as we went in an easy to understand manner.There was also a student (Grace) at my appointment. She came in first before Cassandra and reviewed details gathered by the M.A. Grace was very kind, open, and professional!Cassandra performed the exams I needed for the day, but asked along the entire way if it was okay for Grace to shadow and also examine me at each step of the appointment, with both of them checking on my comfort level having a student in the room.
Cassandra is THE BEST ever. She is so knowledgeable, and has the calmest and most comfortable demeanor, and has never made me feel embarrassed of any questions I may have.
Cassandra was exceptional. She answered all my questions and offered realtime suggestions. I was so impressed with her support and assistance.
This care provider was one of the most thorough providers I've ever seen and I've seen a whole lot of providers. She asked questions that I've never been asked before and always wondered why they weren't asked.
She listened to my concerns and we discussed a plan of care
Really enjoy Cassandra as a provider. She provides clear education and options so that I can make informed decisions about my health care and what I want.
This was my first visit with Cassandra and she was PHENOMENAL. I've seen the OSU midwives previously and had good experiences, but was extremely pleased with Cassandra's attention to detail, as it was obvious she read my chart before coming into the room, and understood how my complex medical history (TTP & Ehlers Danlos)) impacted what I needed from my midwifery visit. Cassandra did a superb job of listening to my needs and providing good recommendations for what tests and referrals might be appropriate.
Since I am now 37 weeks pregnant, I meet with many of the midwives as they work in a group. Cassandra is one of my preferred midwives. She is knowledgable, thorough, and I have never felt dismissed or uncared for when asking questions or expressing concerns.
