Consulting and related relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

Spent a significant amount of time with me addressing concerns about medication choices. Impressive!
I have no complaints. I really like Dr. Hyer and his staff. He is very thorough and explains things very well.
The care provider was very polite and reviewed my condition for clarity past and present. He discussed the medication I am taking related to my cardiovascular condition and the possibility of adjusting my medication based on my current and past vital signs and relevance to the dosage.
He's a wonderful doctor. I've never had care before anywhere else but OSU that has been this thorough and takes the time to address and explain. I feel safe in his care.
He was also very cordial and polite. We shook hands upon introducing ourselves and he spent an adequate amount of time with me.

Dr.Hyer was very professional and kind. He showed that he cares. I would see him anytime for everything. Totally trust him and his advice.
Came into the room with a smile. Was very comfortable to be with ask questions about my health and any concerns that I had. Discussed the test I had been given and explained the results. Talked about possibilities that we might have. Explained why he was generally happy with my health. His overall attitude and care makes it a positive experience and one that makes it possible to return for a visit or call with a problem knowing he would take an interest in me.

My provider is Dr Chad Hyer cardiology very kind and listening and explaining everything going on with me. Cardiologist I had at another hospital was very unknowing and uncaring. OSU is the best.
