As a family medicine physician, I’m passionate about getting to know my patients as well as providing excellent patient-centered care throughout their whole life. My goal is to form a partnership with my patients to make sure we address all aspects of their health and well-being: physical health, mental and emotional health and social health. I believe that with shared decision-making and individualized care, my patients and I can work toward all their health goals to help them achieve the healthiest version of themselves.
My clinical focus is in preventive care, chronic disease management (including diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and weight management), pediatrics/adolescent health, women’s health (including prenatal) and mental health.
By working at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I have access to many tremendous resources that I can utilize to benefit my patients. The collaborative community among my clinic and the entire medical community is so supportive and collegial, which I believe has created a nurturing environment for my growth as a physician.
In my free time, I enjoy working out at the gym and staying active with fun activities such as sand volleyball. I also like to try new restaurants, read, watch new shows and movies, and travel.

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. It was amazing.
She was very knowledgeable. She was also 30 minutes late for my appointment she said she had had "needy" patients before me, hence the lateness. The term calling others "needy" about sums up the attitude she had. It was ALL. Business - like visiting a male doctor back in the 60's. I almost wanted to apologize for taking up her time. This was my first visit with her as my previous doctor had moved to her speciality.

Dr. Fu was even better than I'd hoped. I came in with a lot of things to talk about on our first visit and she made time for everything and thoroughly discussed them with me. She kept everything organized well and made sure nothing was forgotten. She listened to my thoughts on everything and encouraged making decisions together about what to do next. She also made time for some get to know you talk so I felt more comfortable. The visit was very productive and actually fun. I was worried about going in with so many topics and ideas, but it couldn't have gone better. I'm looking forward to the next follow-up appointment.

Dr. Fu is the best! She listens to me and trusts what I say. She offers suggestions but does not act like she "knows all" about me and let's me take control of my care and decisions, based on the information she provides. I feel very lucky to have found her for my doctor.

Does not listen to patients. I had seen this on previous reviews online. Does not seem open to understanding the patient's personal experience. You can tell she genuinely listens for the first couple of seconds but once she decides what she thinks is best you can tell she's lost attention, then she'll explain what her determined plan is for you. I'm more interested in providers and caregivers who will listen and work with their patients.

Dr Fu spent an hour with me during my visit to establish care getting to know my medical history, my daily habits and had a thoughtful and informative discussion about nutrition. She was able to relate to me in my current situation and I did not feel ashamed to ask for guidance or share personal experiences with her.
Dr. Fu was knowledgeable about condition, did an appropriate exam for this new concern, explained treatment options. She understands my style - including minimal medications and preference for life-style options.

Dr Fu always seems incredibly overwhelmed and rushed. While kind, she tends to be combative and argumentative about other doctor's opinions (e.g., my specialist's) or my own thoughts on my health. I would suggest she focus on listening rather than being right.

She listen to me and she took care of the worry that I had about my body. She cares about me and my life. She always have concern and I feel so confident that she cares.
Good: spent time with me, felt like she tried to get to know me, crafted a care plan that I was comfortable with. Bad: slightly combative with my responses. When I repeatedly said I didn't have family medical history, Dr Fu didn't seem to accept that as an answer though it was the truth. Kept pushing.
