Biography
I am an ophthalmologist specializing in cataracts, corneal diseases and ocular surface disorders. My practice at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center focuses on preserving and restoring patients’ vision through individualized treatment plans that may include medication, office-based procedures or surgery.
I believe that every person deserves to be treated with respect. I take time to discuss available treatment options with my patients and work collaboratively to develop care plans that meet their unique needs. My goal is to provide high-quality, compassionate care while helping patients achieve the best possible outcomes for their vision.
I perform a wide range of procedures, including cataract surgery, corneal transplantation (PKP, DALK, DSEK and DMEK), pterygium excision, corneal cross-linking for keratoconus, limbal stem cell transplantation and surgical excision of ocular surface neoplasia. In addition to caring for adults, I also treat corneal conditions in pediatric patients.
I value the opportunity to care for patients with complex eye problems using the latest treatments and advanced technology available at the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center. The trust my patients place in me is a privilege that I do not take for granted.
In my free time I read fiction, am actively involved in my church and spend time with my family.
