I specialize in orthopaedic sports medicine surgery for active people. I enjoy helping people develop, maintain or return to an active lifestyle.
What I’m most proud of at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is our program that addresses anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury treatment, prevention and outcomes. Our research program has resulted in numerous research publications that have helped shape the care of ACL injuries across the country.
In my spare time, I enjoy hiking and climbing mountains. I have climbed mountains in Ecuador, Peru, Japan, Tanzania and across the U.S. My next trip is planned for Switzerland.

News about me
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 03/25/2016, Dr. Kaeding has reported no financial relationships with medical device, research and/or drug companies.
