About Me

I believe that people should have their care personalized to fit their needs and situation.

I specialize in orthopaedic sports medicine surgery for active people. I enjoy helping people develop, maintain or return to an active lifestyle.

What I’m most proud of at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is our program that addresses anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury treatment, prevention and outcomes. Our research program has resulted in numerous research publications that have helped shape the care of ACL injuries across the country.

In my spare time, I enjoy hiking and climbing mountains. I have climbed mountains in Ecuador, Peru, Japan, Tanzania, Switzerland and across the U.S.

I hope I never need him again but if I do - he will be my surgeon - Great guy and wonderful doctor!

Provider gave helpful information and was definitely patient-oriented.

Dr. Kaeding was completely dismissive of my overall health & well being. He seemed rushed and aloof. After not wanting to listen to me he began explaining the procedure he was about to administer with ZERO awareness that I had previously undergone the entire process before IN HIS CARE. I feel Dr. K is a "one size fits all" MD who is frankly not interested in the progressive times and approach to patient care & procedure.

Dr. Kaeding is the ultimate professional. He has operated on my knee twice and I have full confidence in him.
