Biography

I am a Lead Specialty Practice Pharmacist in Critical Care and serve as the Administrative Lead for Critical Care at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. In my role, I work closely with critical care teams to optimize medication therapy for some of our most complex and critically ill patients. My work blends advanced clinical practice, education, and research, and I am committed to improving outcomes through evidence based pharmacotherapy, interdisciplinary collaboration, and continuous innovation in critical care practice.

My research focuses on finding better ways to use medications to help patients in the intensive care unit recover safely and effectively. I study how certain medicines work in people with severe injuries or illnesses, including burn injuries, infections, and complications after major surgery. By looking at how different drugs affect healing, pain control, and infection risk, my work aims to give doctors and nurses better tools to choose the safest and most effective treatments. This research helps us improve care for future patients by reducing complications, improving comfort, and supporting faster recovery.

I have published numerous research articles on topics including burn injury management, antibiotic strategies, opioid sparing pain control, and treatment outcomes in critically ill patients. I completed my Doctor of Pharmacy degree with high academic distinction, followed by a PGY1/PGY2 Pharmacotherapy Residency, where I served as Chief Resident. My career continues to be guided by a dedication to advancing critical care pharmacotherapy through clinical excellence, research, and mentorship.
