Biography
As a family medicine physician, I am passionate about education and working collaboratively with my patients to prevent disease and optimize health. I regularly conduct wellness visits for both adults and children, provide knee and shoulder joint injections, and perform skin procedures such as mole removals.
I also specialize in providing exceptional obstetrics care. I perform annual Pap smears and provide contraceptive options including IUD and birth control implants. I offer prenatal services as well as newborn and pediatric care. The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center has such a supportive network of specialists and motivated faculty members, and it is a privilege to be part of the team.
As a physician who trained at an academic medical center, I love being part of a learning environment. I am grateful for the opportunity to teach medical students and residents in the outpatient setting. I am also an assistant clinical professor and a Family Medicine residency core faculty member.
When I am not working, I enjoy practicing yoga and spending time outdoors. I also like drawing and painting.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 11/3/2025, Colleen Reidy has reported no relationships with companies or entities.

Very good
Dr Reidy is great
She's friendly and attentive and makes sure I have time to discuss everything that I want. She's not versed in some of the things I wanted to discuss like perimenopause, functional approaches, and herbal supplements, but she referred me to the department that could better assist. I would love if all doctors were focused more on wellness and preventative care rather than illness.
Kind and caring
Gave thorough explanation of all treatment options
Always excellent
She was genuinely one of the nicest people I've ever met and I feel like I can comfortably talk to her about all my medical needs
