About Me
I became an obstetrician-gynecologist because I am passionate about empowering my patients to make reproductive health decisions based on their unique needs. I make it a priority to educate my patients about all of their health care options and ensure they are actively involved at every stage of their care. It’s a privilege to be able to support my patients through life-changing events and I value the relationships we’re able to build.
I specialize in managing both normal and complicated pregnancies. I provide evidence-based gynecologic, preventive, contraceptive, and gender-affirming care. I also care for patients who’ve experienced a miscarriage and treat conditions like abnormal bleeding and sexually transmitted infections.
At Ohio State, I love that I have the opportunity to help medical students and residents learn and grow at such a formative stage. From bedside teaching to health care policy discussions and career advice, working with learners is a highly rewarding part of my job at Ohio State.
In my free time, I enjoy walking my dog, baking, and reading.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 09/29/2023, Dr. Kerestes has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
She listened carefully to my concerns and provided needed info. This is only the second time seeing Dr. Kerestes but I like her and will continue to see her.
Dr. Kerestes is an amazing doctor. Every time I leave her office I tell friends and family about how great she is and how she should be winning patient satisfaction awards. She messages me on mychart on weekends and nights (sometimes 10 pm) to tell me about my test results. She is to the point and thorough and answers all my questions. I truly can't say enough good things about her. Last year her and her MA stayed late to do a same day, in office procedure so that I wouldn't have to wait a week. She has prescribed me simple medications over a mychart message so that I wouldn't have to go to urgent care or wait over the weekend. She truly cares and that is hard to find.
Dr. C. Kerestes is a... thoughtful and empathetic gynecologist who has an excellent patient demeanor and is highly knowledgeable. Would recommend her to anyone looking for a gynecologist.
Attentive, listened, not judgemental or dismissive
I have seen Dr. Kerestes for my pregnancy. I'm a week postpartum now. I'm not happy with the care she provided whatsoever. She doesn't have a good bedside manner in my opinion. This my first pregnancy which is supposed to be exciting and she wasn't very friendly or warm at any of my visits. Almost all of my appointments were rescheduled due to schedule conflicts on her end. I understand needing to change 1 or 2 appointments, but rescheduling all of my appointments is a huge inconvenience especially because I worked through my entire pregnancy I had to keep sending emails to my boss to change my appointment dates. I feel as if my appointments were very rushed. I brought up health concerns at appointments and they were brushed over or not addressed at all. Near the time I went in to labor I had a lot of questions because I've never been pregnant & nothing was addressed. The only reason I know about the 5-1-1 rule for labor is because of labor and delivery triage. I had to look up a ton of things on Google leading up to my child's birth because I had no idea what was going on w/my body or if some things were to be concerned about. About half-way through my pregnancy I was hoping that when I went into labor she wasn't going to be the doctor to deliver my baby. I have been a patient with OSU since 2017 and I've never had this many issues with a provider ever. It makes me very sad that this was my experience for my first pregnancy and once my post-partum checks are over I will never go back to her again.
Attentive; did not minimize concerns/requests; supportive
She was amazing, always available to answer questions on mychart and clearly looking out for my best interests. Wonderful experience.
I've enjoyed Courtney's care since switching. She hears me out, explains and talks through things with me and takes her time - not rushing the appointment!
My provider surprised me by remembering concerns we talked about at my last visit, over a month ago. Made me feel very cared for.
Very good - she listened and took time to get to know me and my health concerns. She thought about trying a medicine to see if it helps, but also said it might need changed as well.
She was really nice and on-time.
Addressed my concerns without judgment & gave me options.
My doctor was helpful and gave me a lot of useful information about my pregnancy
She listened very carefully, took her time, and was very helpful
Excellent! Listened to everything I had to say, checked for concerns, and gave feedback I could understand and use to make decisions.
I was really nervous at this appointment. Dr. Kerestes didn't care to explain much to me, seemed distracted, and made me feel judged. I didn't feel listened to and I left in tears.
