Biography
I am a nephrologist and associate clinical professor of internal medicine at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. With decades of experience in kidney care, I specialize in treating chronic kidney disease, dialysis management, and complex renal conditions.
I chose nephrology because it allows me to build long-term relationships with patients and help them navigate challenging health journeys. My goal is to provide compassionate, patient-centered care that empowers individuals to manage their health with confidence.

Dr. Spedie, the best
Dr. Spetie explained how multiple factors contributed to my CKD and he showed me how the imaging (MRI and US) together indicate both vascular and renal tissue damage components. He also explained how a plant based protein diet can help decrease azotemia.
