About Me
As a neuroradiologist, I specialize in MRI and CT imaging to diagnose disorders of the brain, spine, head and neck and work closely with other members of the healthcare team. I serve on the Head and Neck Tumor Board, which allows me to collaborate with surgeons, oncologists and other specialists to ensure that patients get the best and most appropriate treatment. I also have the opportunity to teach and train medical students, residents and fellows on a daily basis.
As clinical director of MRI, I provide physician leadership for MRI operations and work closely with our MR technologists, physicists and other healthcare providers to ensure that patients receive the highest quality and safest imaging possible.
I'm originally from Lima, Ohio. My education includes both a BS and MD degree from The Ohio State University, followed by seven years of post-graduate training to become a specialist in neuroradiology. My training included a four-year diagnostic radiology residency at the Medical University of South Carolina and subsequently a two-year neuroradiology fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital / Harvard Medical School. After completing training in Boston, I moved to Columbus with my wife and two boys to join the faculty at Ohio State.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 09/30/2024, Dr. Boulter has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
