Biography
I am Daniel Boulter, MD, and I specialize in advanced imaging of the brain, spine, head and neck at The Ohio State University Medical Center. My practice focuses on diagnostic neuroradiology, image-guided spine and neck procedures, and on collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide accurate diagnoses and personalized care for patients with complex neurological and head and neck conditions.
I serve as division chief of Neuroradiology at the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center and am a board-certified neuroradiologist specializing in advanced MRI and CT imaging of the brain, spine, head and neck. I work closely with neurologists, neurosurgeons, oncologists and other specialists to help guide treatment decisions and deliver comprehensive care for patients with complex neurological and head and neck disorders. In addition to diagnostic imaging, I perform image-guided procedures of the spine and neck for both diagnostic evaluation and treatment.
As an active member of both the Head and Neck Tumor Board and the Spine Tumor Board at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute, I collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that patients receive the most effective and individualized care. My commitment to advancing the field of neuroradiology is reflected through my contributions to peer-reviewed publications, abstracts, and book chapters, as well as through presentations I’ve given at national radiology meetings.
I have also served on the American College of Radiology Expert Panel on Neurologic Imaging, helping develop evidence-based appropriateness criteria and consensus recommendations that guide imaging utilization and patient care across the United States.
Education and mentorship are among the most rewarding aspects of my career. As a clinical professor in the Department of Radiology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, I have served as program director for the Neuroradiology Fellowship and the Advanced Neuroradiology Fellowship programs. I am passionate about training the next generation of neuroradiologists and helping fellows, resident physicians and medical students develop the skills needed to provide outstanding patient care.

I am Daniel Boulter, MD, assistant professor in the Department of Radiology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, and I specialize in neuroradiology. My research focuses on advanced imaging of neurological and head and neck disorders, as well as on the development and application of evidence-based imaging practices that improve patient care.
I serve as division chief of Neuroradiology at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
