Biography
I am a cardiologist and professor of clinical medicine at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I earned my medical degree from the St. Louis University School of Medicine. I completed my residency in internal medicine at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, R.I., and completed a fellowship in cardiology at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester, Mass.
I was named one of America’s Best Doctors in 2009. My clinical interests include echocardiography, TEE and stress echo.

Academics and research
I am a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a member of the American Society of Echocardiography, American College of Physicians and the American Heart Association. I have been active on several committees of the American Society of Echocardiography and is currently serving his second term as a Board of Trustees member of the Ohio Chapter of the American College of Cardiology.
I have authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and co-authored several book chapters. I have given multiple presentations at local, regional and national cardiology conferences.
I have received the Charles F. Wooley Transmission of Excellence Teaching Award from The Ohio State University Division of Cardiovascular Medicine on two occasions.
