Biography

I am an infectious disease specialist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I diagnose and treat patients for various conditions including cellulitis, endocarditis, osteomyelitis and HIV/AIDS.

I enjoy getting to know my patients, which allows me to better understand their diagnosis and develop treatment plans that work best for their individual situation. I educate my patients about their options and empower them to take an active role in their care as we work together toward successful treatment.

In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I serve as the residency program director for the Department of Internal Medicine, and I am a clinical professor in the College of Medicine. I enjoy educating the next generation of physicians, often including medical students, residents and fellows during clinic, which keeps me on my toes and benefits the patients. In addition, I am the advisor for the Christian Medical Association student organization at The Ohio State University College of Medicine.
