Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. Dr. Alwan is always incredibly helpful and truly cares about not only my physical health, but also my mental health. She always takes time to meet with me and discuss any and all of my issues, and she never seems bothered with the numerous office visits I make.

Extent
I had never had a gynecological examination and have never been sexually active. I had questions bout different kinds of contraceptives and the effects of hormonal contraceptives on my body. I left without answers to my questions and without feeling like my voice was heard in regard to my health.
This was for an allergic reaction I was having. Didn't have a Primary care Dr. Wanted to be seen as soon as possible by someone who was experienced as I was very uncomfortable. I was very happy with this Dr.
Dr Alwan was very kind and professional. She was also very thorough and listened to everything I said.
My Care provider is very knowledgeable and always help me with my concerns.

This was my first visit with Dr. Alwan and I was very happy. She took ample time and asked good questions. It's difficult putting someone's full history together but she did a great job. I appreciate her evaluating my medications to see what may be eliminated.
