Biography

I am a board-certified nurse practitioner at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I specialize in endocrinology, with a focus on type 1 diabetes and diabetes technology management. Over my 15 years of experience, I have worked in inpatient and outpatient settings with children and adults with diabetes. My current outpatient clinic is dedicated to young adults with type 1 diabetes.

In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I am an assistant professor in The Ohio State University College of Nursing. My National Institutes of Health-funded research focuses on understanding novel aspects of diabetes and technology management for it, and the experiences of individuals with diabetes and their relationships with this technology. I’ve also led Food and Drug Administration-regulated clinical trials exploring the implementation of diabetes technologies in the hospital setting.

I collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that each patient receives compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to their unique needs.
