About Me

I am a board-certified pulmonologist focused on diagnosing and treating patients with pulmonary hypertension. This rare disease can cause shortness of breath and right-sided heart failure (right ventricular heart failure) if not treated properly.

I am passionate about using my skills and expertise to ensure patients with pulmonary hypertension receive appropriate care. It’s deeply rewarding to help my patients control their symptoms and achieve a higher quality of life.

We are fortunate at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center to have a multidisciplinary pulmonary hypertension team to best serve the community. I’m proud to be part of such an exceptional unit.

My role also includes helping to educate the next generation of physicians, as an assistant clinical professor of Internal Medicine within The Ohio State University College of Medicine.

I don't feel he knew enough about my medical condition, he was in a hurry, said he would reach out & get any necessary records but that he felt like I needed to exercise & lose weight. I explained that I had Covid and he asked if it was a bad case I said yes, did not allow me to answer & said were you on oxygen, I said no & his response was well it wasn't bad then. I had Covid in 2020, was quarantined to home, probably needed O2, lost work for a month & was on Eliquis for 3 years due to pulmonary embolism from Covid. I also let him know, I've lost 100 lbs and have been exercising over the past year and have more difficulty breathing. He chalked it up to likely being a vocal cord issue and passed me off to an ENT.
