Physical Therapist
I have been a member of the Outpatient Rehabilitation Team at OSU since 2020. I am a member of the Spinal Cord Injury Team and am passionate about providing evidence based care to all of my patients. My primary interest in care is neurologic diagnoses, including spinal cord injury, stroke, and brain injury as well as treating general debility and balance concerns. I have specialty training in FES-powered systems, Bioness, Safegait, Indego Exoskeleton, and Myolyn Myocycle. I am also a member in the following professional organizations: American Physical Therapy Association, APTA Neurologic Section, and Ohio Chapter.
Outside of work, I enjoy staying active including cycling and hiking, as well as spending time searching for the best chocolate chip cookie in Columbus.
Please note: Not all physicians schedule patients at each listed location.
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 11/3/2025, Emily Carmack has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
