About Me

As a gastroenterologist and transplant hepatologist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I specialize in treating liver diseases. My role involves diagnosing conditions such as cirrhosis, fatty liver disease and hepatitis, and caring for patients who have undergone liver transplantation.

I am passionate about providing exceptional care for every person who comes to see me. I take the time to thoroughly explain their complex disease and treatment options, and always empower my patients to take an active role in their care.

I enjoy working in academic medicine where I can provide patients with the best evidence-based care, while also teaching the next generation of physicians. I serve as an expert educator in The Ohio State University College of Medicine with a focus on assessing students during objective structured clinical examinations (OSCEs).

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, traveling and needlepoint.

This was my first visit with Dr. Bouquet, she was freshly assigned to my case. She came in well aware of my past medical history. She ask questions about my liver transplant, inquired about my type 2 diabetes and even asked about my hernia. I liked her questions and answers and concerns about my health. Welcome aboard Dr. Bouquet.

    Very good

  • Reviewed on Jul 22, 2025

Really appreciated the time she spent with me, answering questions, and not being dismissive of my concerns as other (non-OSU) doctors have been in the past. Dr Bouquet spent more time with me personally during this visit (nearly 45 minutes) than my PCP and initial GI specialist have spent with me over the past 2 years of this health journey - combined. It was obvious that she had not only looked at my charts prior to seeing me, but did a great job of gauging my level of understanding and not talking down to me. I would ask her to be my PCP if it were something she would consider.
