Nurse Practitioner
A nurse practitioner is extensively trained to treat illness or disease and to prescribe medication to their patients. They work on teams with a licensed physician, but can treat patients with significant autonomy. Nurse practitioners work in a variety of settings, including primary care and various other medical and surgical specialties.

She was great - reviewed several things as follows up. I had an issue o felt needed addressed, we spent significant time discussing a plan to solve or improve my situation. I have met with this nurse practiser several times since she has covered for my regular n.p. Both are very attentive : I am pleased with both and am very comfortable with the care they provide. That's a plus!!
