Biography

I am an Outpatient Parenteral Antimicrobial Therapy (OPAT) Specialty Practice Pharmacist in the Department of Pharmacy at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. My professional focus centers on antimicrobial stewardship, global health, long acting injectable therapies, and optimizing patient care for individuals receiving antimicrobial treatments.

My work focuses on finding better ways to treat infections, especially in patients who need IV antibiotics outside the hospital. I study how to use antibiotics safely and effectively, including long acting medicines that may help patients receive treatment with fewer clinic visits. The goal of this work is to reduce infection related complications, prevent antibiotic resistance, and make treatments easier and safer for patients in the future.

I appreciate the commitment to innovation at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and value the opportunity to support patient centered infectious diseases care. I am passionate about advancing antimicrobial stewardship and contributing to efforts that improve treatment options and outcomes for patients with complex infections.
