Biography
As a physician, I'm interested in community medicine, global health and integrating ultrasound into underserved areas. I went to medical school in Phoenix, Arizona, and did a residency in emergency medicine at Drexel/Hahnemann in Philadelphia. After completing my residency, I practiced in Austin, Texas for one year. I then returned to Ohio, where I grew up, to do an ultrasound fellowship at Ohio State. I'm continuing on as faculty.
In my spare time, I love to travel and am an avid concert attender.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 11/3/2025, Dr. Mynatt has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
