Department: Internal Medicine
As a primary care physician, it's important to listen and try to understand patients' circumstances and histories. I want to help educate patients about issues that are important to them. That way, we can work together to develop a plan that addresses their healthcare needs.
I am passionate about general internal medicine because I like to develop long-term relationships with my patients. I enjoy navigating challenges associated with helping people identify and manage a variety of health conditions.
I enjoy working at Ohio State because I like working in a medical center that embraces a culture of learning and continual improvement. I am surrounded by physicians and learners who are working hard to meet the needs of their patients and the community.
Please note: Not all physicians schedule patients at each listed location.
Working in the Division of General Internal Medicine, I am committed to the education of my patients and working to improve their understanding about health concerns. I believe that patients with a greater understanding of their own health concerns will be able to make more informed decisions about their treatment and this will result in increased patient safety, and improved quality of care.
Collaborating with other departments within The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I am working on implementing several cutting-edge programs that can improve both the safety and quality of care provided for patients. One program focuses on improving the continuity of care between many specialists for patients with hereditary cancer syndromes. Another program focuses on ensuring quality health care for patients with latent tuberculosis infections.
Additionally, I lead the resident continuity clinic at the Martha Morehouse Medical Plaza and is also an associate director for the Internal Medicine Residency Program at The Ohio State University. I am working to guarantee the highest level of patient care and safety while providing residents with an excellent training experience.

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
