Biography

I am a palliative medicine physician specializing in supportive care for patients and families facing serious illnesses. My practice at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center focuses on complex symptom management, advance care planning and goals-of-care conversations – all to help patients receive care that aligns with their values and priorities.

I chose a career in medicine because I am passionate about supporting patients and families as they navigate serious illnesses. I believe compassionate communication and personalized care are essential to helping patients make informed decisions and maintain the best possible quality of life.

My training in complex symptom management and serious illness communication allows me to partner with patients, families and other members of the care team to address physical, emotional and practical challenges associated with serious medical conditions. I strive to create a supportive environment where patients feel heard, respected and empowered.

In addition to caring for patients, I am committed to educating the next generation of healthcare professionals. I have a strong interest in teaching communication skills to learners, and I am invested in advancing primary palliative care education for providers across the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center. Through both patient care and education, I am dedicated to improving the experience of individuals and families who are facing serious illnesses.
