About Me

I’m triple board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R), interventional pain medicine and electrodiagnostic medicine. I earned my medical degree at the University of Toledo College of Medicine and completed my residency in PM&R and fellowship in interventional pain medicine at The Ohio State University. During my residency, I also earned my master’s in business administration at the Ohio State Fisher College of Business.

As a specialist with a clinical interest in interventional pain and spine medicine, I see patients with a multitude of issues that relate to their neck, back or joints. At the Ohio State Comprehensive Spine Center, I work closely with our spine surgeons and medical spine specialists to make sure our patients can rapidly get the care they need. Additionally, I’m a faculty member in our Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residency Program and the associate director of Ohio State’s Multidisciplinary Pain Medicine Fellowship. My research objectives are to focus on ways we, as interventional pain physicians, can improve the way we select patients for therapeutic options and improve outcomes.

My ultimate goal is to help my patients get back to the activities that help them live the most fulfilling lives. I focus mostly on interventional modalities and non-opioid treatments with an added emphasis on exercise and appropriate self-care as ways to manage pain.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife, three children and our small dog, Henry. I also enjoy traveling and an occasional round of golf.
