Physician, Associate Professor
Otolaryngology, ENT-Facial Plastic Surgery
Department: Otolaryngology
I practice both reconstructive and aesthetic surgery at The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center. I specialize in primary rhinoplasty, maxillofacial trauma, cosmetic and reconstructive facial plastic surgery including face/neck lift, blepharoplasty and otoplasty. I take some of the most difficult revision rhinoplasty cases. I also serve as the director of Facial Trauma in the Department of Otolaryngology.
I take the time to understand what matters most to my patients. My goal is to tailor care to each individual so we can achieve the best possible outcomes together. I stay connected and follow up to ensure the results meet both my standards and theirs.
I have transitioned from private practice to corporate medicine, and now on to academics. I enjoy the team approach to optimizing care and an environment of perpetual education and improvement.
In my free time, I enjoy adventures around Columbus with my kids and showering our dog, Moose, with love.
Please note: Not all physicians schedule patients at each listed location.
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 11/3/2025, Dr. Steitz has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
