About Me

I have a passion for caring for other people. I have witnessed the crucial role that nurse practitioners provide in a patient’s care, not only as a health care provider but also as someone concerned for a loved one. As a nurse practitioner, I have the ability to empower and impact my patients’ lives with knowledge and understanding of their disease and treatment options. I understand that a patient’s experience is shaped by the care they receive. That’s why I ensure my patients receive compassionate, quality care in a safe environment.

Working in an academic setting is important to me because the atmosphere lends itself to many opportunities for learning while I strengthen my core competencies as a nurse practitioner.

I first gained experience in medical settings as a provider during my 10 years as a cardiac nurse before my current profession. Now I work closely with colorectal surgeons and specialize in anorectal diseases, being the first nurse practitioner credentialed in anoscopy within The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center hospital system.

When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with family, exploring with my dog, traveling and photography.
