Biography
I am Joann Walker, PT, and I specialize in sports and orthopedic physical therapy at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. My physical therapy practice focuses on the evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation of sports-related injuries, orthopedic conditions and postsurgical recovery.
As a dual board-certified specialist in sports and orthopedic physical therapy, I am dedicated to helping athletes and active individuals return to the activities that matter most to them. I have a particular interest in the management of hip and knee injuries and rehabilitation following orthopedic surgery. My approach to care is individualized and evidence-based, and I work closely with each patient to develop a treatment plan that supports their goals, improves function and promotes long-term health and performance.
