Biography
As a physician assistant in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I specialize in caring for patients with various eye cancers. I am incredibly passionate about ocular tumors and consider it an honor to care for this patient population.
My role also involves working with subspecialists in the BAP-1 Tumor Predisposition Syndrome Clinic. I help educate patients about genetic diagnoses, promote early surveillance for cancer and participate in innovative research efforts.
I got my start in ocular oncology as an undergraduate student at The Ohio State University. I appreciated the opportunity to support patients who had cancer and to work with ophthalmologists to help preserve patients’ vision and help them maintain independence.
I learned a lot from my patients during those years and the experience greatly influenced my career path. When I was offered the chance to come back and work with this same group of patients as a provider, I jumped at the opportunity.

Kaylee is amazing. She is thorough and very knowledgeable.
I love my doctor's at Havner. They literally saved my life and I always feel heard and cared about. I can't imagine having to give up my care there.
She is easy to relate to, she listens to me and takes her time in explaining what is wrong, and what is right. She is a people person and very knowledgeable in my condition.
She was well prepared for my visit having reviewed my medical history. She asked questions about any current problems I may be having with my vision and described potential side effects of the treatment that I received.
She was professional and kind, also answered all questions.

I went in for a 6 month check-up and a new problem was discovered during my visit. K. Ramsey was able to get me scheduled the same day with another provider in the department for laser surgery. I was very thankful for the co-ordination of the PA and physicians to be able to provide me with this expedited treatment to avoid problems.
Ordered a waited for crucial imaging test to get results and formulate treatment plan.
